Rachel

Owner and Chief Do'er

Hello! I’m Rachel,  I launched RHVA Virtual Assistant in 2013, with over 20 years of experience in customer service and business administration management, in the engineering, manufacturing and logistics sectors. I’m a dedicated, reliable, intuitive, resourceful and get it done kind of person!

I am passionate about helping others achieve a balance, either for regaining family time or enabling them to focus on the deliverables in their business.

I am based in Rugby, Warwickshire but have a small team of great Virtual Assistants who care about our clients just as much as I do.

Outside of the business, I form part of the operation’s committee for a local charity The Ups of Downs, I’m the charity’s Training and Schools Coordinator and a volunteer mentor for new parents receiving a diagnosis of Down’s Syndrome.

Over the past few years, I have been lucky enough to win some awards, including Independent VA of the Year 2020 and VA of the Year 2019 for the West Midlands England Region,  you can see more here.

Sophie

Organisation Sprite

Hey! I’m Sophie and became part of the RHVA team in February 2021.

I’ve worked in Customer Service and Administration roles for 20 years. The last 10 of which were for a not-for-profit organisation, as an EA supporting the CEO and Executive team.

I am in my happy place organising inboxes and figuring out the puzzle of calendars and competing priorities. I take great pride in ensuring my team are fully prepared for the days ahead, no one likes surprises!

I have developed core skills in meeting management; timeline preparation, collation of data for packs, facilitating and formal minute taking. I strive to add value, focusing on resourceful and creative solutions.

One of my passions is event planning, from organising large scale conferences to offering additional support others where needed. I’ve enjoyed the challenge of transitioning events the on-line forums through the pandemic, and sourcing creative alternatives.

I live in Milton Keynes with my two children and house bunnies. I love yoga, being outside and am slowly becoming a lover of running.

Admin Angel

Hi I’m Heather, I met Rachel on a VA Workshop a couple of years ago, as a new VA and quite nervous at the time, she made me feel really welcome, it was really interesting finding out about her journey and how she supports her clients.  Since 2018 I have provided admin support to various RHVA clients.

I have been a PA since leaving school and pride myself on offering traditional PA support delivered virtually. Throughout my career I have provided executive, business development, marketing, back-office and HR support within a number of diverse businesses and industries across the UK, supporting VPs, CEOs, MDs and executive teams.

I’ve always enjoyed creating that sense of order and managing the mayhem; being the go to person to get something done or to make sure that I get the right person to the right place with everything they needed for their trip or meeting.  I get a great buzz when organising events, workshops, away days, company celebrations, it’s such a satisfying feeling when everything goes well.

I live in Gosport, Hampshire, right on the South Coast, I have two grown up children, husband and a mad cat called Alfie. My passion is my garden, it’s where I go to calm my mind, take out my frustrations but mostly to relax.

Admin Genie

Hello I’m Jo.  I’ve been part of the RHVA team since 2019.

I have worked in administration and customer care for more than 25 years with the last 14 years working as an Office Manager/General Manager in the business to consumer industry.

Having spent my entire working life in administration, customer service and offering managerial support, I offer an array of different skills and experience.  There is very little, in the way of administration, that I haven’t done or couldn’t turn my hand to!  I have a real passion for customer service, working with people to ensure they offer their customers the best possible service.

I live in the New Forest with my husband and two wonderful daughters, we love going out exploring the forest and having fun at the beach.

Hi there, I’m Rachael, I’m based in Wrexham, North Wales. I joined the RHVA team in May 2020.

I worked in the hospitality industry for 16 years leading my way to Director of Golf which involved creating annual budgets, predicting monthly forecasts, organising corporate golf days and managing a team of over 40 members of staff. I started as a Virtual assistant in March 2018 and enjoy working with several industries including corporate businesses, coaches, retailers, sports clubs and many more.

In 2019 I completed my level 3 in digital essentials with the Charted Institute of Marketing and I expect to finish my degree in Marketing late 2021. I undertake the following virtual assistant services for our clients; social media management, digital marketing strategies, email marketing, design work (leaflets, banners etc.), creating sales proposals and blogging.
