When was the last time you asked your customers what they thought?
A simple survey has many benefits & is not that difficult if you approach it with an open mind & you know what you want your end result to be.
They allow customers to have an input into your business, so if you’re currently lacking a bit of direction this is a way you can get it.
By asking for their input & feedback it also strengthens your working relationship with them.
It shows your customer that you are continually looking to improve your business offering & are forward thinking.
It will give you an insight into your customers’ loyalty & enable you to head off any move to your competition, it makes far more business sense to deal with any areas of improvement whilst you still have your customer than have the added expense of trying to win them back.
Surveys can also remind your customers that you exist especially if you deal with them on an adhoc basis so will put your company at the forefront of their mind.
Ok, so you might be sceptical of the feedback you might get, but you need to encourage honest feedback, how else will you really know how you’re doing or gauge your performance against your competition? The upside of this is also that it is nice to get a pat on the back & get great testimonials from your customers.
Customers, if they are asked, can also make suggestions for services or products that they might like & they could turn out to be gold mines, when you’re working in your business the simplest of things can be overlooked but can make a big difference to your bottom line.
Companies such as Survey Monkey offer free surveys, but if you don’t have the time or expertise then RHVA can create these surveys for you along with collating the all-important results.
Give it ago & surprise yourself after all we all like praise for a job well done & let me know how you get on.
